When I'm in my chastity cage, I usually prefer to wear my boxer briefs or my bikini briefs. It gives me more support and I get fewer problems with skin irritation or discomfort. On the other hand, when I wear my Mature Metal Jailbird, I can feel the cage swinging around in my boxers. Not so much when I wear my Holy Trainer in boxers.
Of course, this is a matter of personal preference and I must admit that I usually wear boxer briefs when I'm not locked.
